Our Sponsorship Programme supports our mission by helping to provide the daily necessities for children in our care.  Sponsor families play a vital role in the financial provision for these children but also reaffirm their sponsor child's value, as they develop ongoing relationships with them. 

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What do I receive as a sponsor? 

HFOI sponsors receive regular updates about their sponsored child which enables them to see the difference they are helping achieve.  They are also given the opportunity to correspond with their sponsored child through letters and videos. 

How much does it cost?

We are appreciative of any regular income we can receive. Even the smallest contribution can make such a difference. Our recommendation for monthly sponsorship is $50.00 (NZD) per child, this allows us to achieve most of what the need everyday.  

Can I get an annual tax rebate on my donations?

 Currently, 100% of the income we receive is transferred to Uganda. Under New Zealand law this means we are ineligible to issue tax receipts for rebate.
